Caramel Apple Ginger Cider

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup sugar

  • ½ tsp ground ginger

  • 1/2 cup 35% cream

  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter

  • Pinch salt

  • 1 cup mulled apple cider

  • 1 oz Iceberg vodka

DIRECTIONS

  1. Cook sugar in a medium pot over medium-low heat until lightly golden. Carefully stir in cream, butter and salt. Remove from heat. Store in an airtight container.

  2. Heat cider until warm and stir in 1 tablespoon of caramel. Pour into the glass along with vodka. Serve.
